Kieran Taylor extends loan stay until end of season

Widnes Vikings centre Kieran Taylor has extended his loan stay with Rochdale Hornets until the end of the 2026 season.

Taylor joined the club in February on an initial one-month loan deal, shortly after making his competitive debut for the Vikings in their Betfred Challenge Cup clash against Thatto Heath Crusaders.

Since then, the former North Wales Crusaders man, who won the Betfred League 1 title with the Welsh outfit in 2025, has featured four times for the Hornets, crashing over for a try in his inaugural outing in the 24-10 victory over Keighley Cougars.

Taylor has provided quality cover after an intense start to the 2026 campaign, which has affected Gary Thornton's side with several injuries.

The club would like to thank Widnes Vikings for agreeing to extend Taylor's stay at the Crown Oil Arena.
