Eva Peroti re-signs for Hornets Women for 2026

Rochdale Hornets Women have announced the re-signing of forward Eva Peroti for the 2026 season.

The 32-year-old Dutch international forward returns to the club after a successful debut season during our promotion year.

“I’m proud to be back at Rochdale Hornets after a successful season last year," she said. 

"It’s an honour to represent the club again, and to have the opportunity to compete abroad at a higher rugby league level. I’m ready to push myself and give everything for the team."

Women's head coach Ben Bird said: “We learnt an early lesson last year about what it would take to compete, and Eva came at a perfect time for us. 

"She's a strong, confident woman, and that confidence was contagious amongst the squad last year. 

"Eva raised the bar down the middle from the minute she arrived. Super competitive, powerful and fit, she played a key role in not only the team's success but in players' development. 

"Girls saw what it was to play at that standard and upped their game around her, so I'm really happy Eva has committed to the Hornets again this year. Hopefully she can have a similar influence.”
