Fixture list confirmed for 2026 season

Rochdale Hornets' 2026 fixtures have been confirmed, ahead of the club's entry into an expanded, new-look Betfred Championship.

The Hornets will begin the league campaign with a trip to Heywood Road on Sunday 18 January to face Swinton Lions. 

The following week, the Hornets will enter the Betfred Challenge Cup competition at the second round stage, visiting the winners of the first round tie between Siddal and Waterhead.

This will be followed by three successive home games in February, starting against Workington on the first day of the month. 

Games against Keighley Cougars and Hunslet will follow for Gary Thornton's side. 

A first league meeting of the season with Oldham will come at Boundary Park on Good Friday, April 3. 

May sees back-to-back home games before the Hornets embark on a run of seven successive away games throughout June and July and into the start of August. 

The season will conclude with a mouth-watering home meeting with Oldham on Sunday 30 August.

2026 season tickets

Season tickets are already on sale ahead of the 2026 Betfred Championship season.

A regular adult season ticket will cost £180 based on 12 home league games. 

Concessions are priced at £120, with an Under 16s season ticket available for just £5, reinforcing our commitment to encouraging the next generation of rugby league fans to discover their love for the game.
