Jordan Andrade on board for 2026

Rochdale Hornets forward Jordan Andrade has extended his stay at the club for a further 12 months, signing a new one-year deal ahead of the 2026 season.

Andrade will enter his third season with the club, having already made 46 appearances in Hornets colours.

An experienced and well-respected figure in the dressing room, the Jamaica international has committed his immediate future to the club.

"Saying yes to staying was a no-brainer for me," he said.

"I really enjoyed my time at Rochdale and am glad to continue it here. The club promotes good values, and not only me, but my family love coming to watch too, which is a big motivation for me to stay.

"I think the fans here are great and always make players feel welcome.

"Since starting here, the club has always been on a decent incline and I’m excited to see where it will go in the future. I am happy to continue to be a part of that."

Rochdale Hornets head coach Gary Thornton said: “I’m delighted that Jordan has signed for another season.

“His size and impact off the bench has been evident again this season, and he has been a big part of our squad for the past few seasons.

“Jordan is a popular member of our group and will help the younger forwards with his talk and experience.”
