Join: 'Hive 1871' weekly draw

Throughout 2024, Rochdale Hornets have been steadily working on the revitalised approach to our lottery offer.

This has been done in conjunction with highly experienced provider the National Youth & Community Development Association (NYCDA), as our ‘official weekly draw partner’.

Under the ‘Hive 1871’ partnership approach, the club will work with NYCDA to raise money for youth player and community development activities that grow the game of rugby league across the borough of Rochdale, via the Gambling Commission licenced NYCDA Weekly Draw. 

As the partnership evolves, the club and NYCDA very much see the opportunity to grow throughout 2025 and beyond. 

Keep an eye out in the coming days and weeks, especially as we head into the festive period, for more information on this as we look to raise awareness of the new approach, thank existing supporters and engage with fans to become new members.

Hornets fans can support ‘Hive 1871’ and play the NYCDA Weekly Draw for as little as £1 a week via a monthly direct debit. 

The prize fund currently has a £1,000 top prize available each week, with additional weekly prizes of £100, £50 x2, £25 x2 and £10 x10.  There’s also a £500 rollover extra, which can grow to an incredible £10,000.
