An update from GM Matt Rigby

A message from Rochdale Hornets general manager Matt Rigby as attention turns to the 2025 Betfred League 1 season.

Dear Hornets supporters,

As we look ahead to next year, I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for the incredible support you showed in 2024. 

Under the leadership of head coach Gary Thornton, we had a fantastic season, and now it’s time to build on that as we aim for even greater success in 2025.

Earlier this week, we were delighted to announce the launch of our 2025 season tickets.

Your support is more important than ever, and we encourage you to not only renew your ticket but also bring along a friend, family member or colleague. If every supporter brings just one more person, we can significantly boost our crowd and create an even more electrifying atmosphere at the Crown Oil Arena.

While early season ticket sales have been steady, it cannot be understated how important it is for the club to grow this figure in order to provide the best possible on-field product.

As always, we are committed to providing value for money to our loyal supporters. 

That’s why, for the third consecutive year, we’re offering a price freeze on all season tickets and Platinum Club membership. 

We are once again offering free season tickets to under 16s, ensuring our youngest fans can experience the action,

With the launch of our kids area, Hooper’s Hive, in 2024, we are excited to continue providing a family-friendly environment at our games.

Restructured seating plan

As previously communicated, We have made improvements to our home matchdays by adjusting the seating plan at the Crown Oil Arena to enhance the supporter experience.

A full list of changes can be found below:

• Block A will now be a dedicated reserved seating section
• Blocks B, C, and D will feature unreserved seating throughout
• Block E will be allocated to away supporters for the duration of the season

Let’s come together and make 2025 the best season yet! 

With your support, both on and off the field, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. We’re counting on each of you to bring an extra person and help us grow our Hornets family.
