Update on positive talks with Rochdale Mayfield

Earlier today, club officials from Rochdale Hornets and Rochdale Mayfield ARLFC held positive talks concerning the future development of rugby league in the borough.

Discussions took place to help consolidate our relationship, and a commitment was made from both clubs to work collaboratively whenever possible, in the best interests of rugby league and sport in Rochdale.

Both clubs will continue to actively work in tandem to ensure rugby league can thrive in the area.

Some initiatives have already been agreed between both parties. These will start to be promoted as we head towards the 2025 season and beyond. 

We would like to thank Rochdale Mayfield for their cooperation and willingness to work together to ensure a brighter future for rugby league in the borough.
