2024 Squad Numbers announced

Rochdale Hornets can confirm the first team squad numbers for the 2024 season.

There are 28 first team shirts for 2024, with captain Duane Straugheir retaining his respective number from last season (12), new signing and 2024 vice captain Martyn Ridyard (6), and the returning fans favourite Gregg McNally (1).

New signings have all been given their squad numbers with Kenny Baker taking the (8) shirt, Luke Nelmes taking (10), whilst Deane Meadows (18), Matt Wilkinson (14), Myles Harrop (3), Joe Hartley (4), Jordan Andrade (16) and Brad Brennan (28) all secure their squad numbers.

Half back Lewis Else moves into the number (7) shirt, whilst Aiden Roden takes number (9) after cementing his place with a strong season at hooker last year.

AJ Boardman also has a new squad number taking the vacated (13) shirt – along with Ben Forster (11), Ben Killan (17) while Dan Nixon takes the (2) shirt, and Tommy Brierley (5).

Our number 15 jersey remains retired and dedicated to our beloved Freddie Lowe.
