Rochdale Hornets are delighted to announce the signing of outside back, Calum Hughes, who will join the club ahead of the 2024 season. Calum joins the club on the back of a season with Swinton Lions last year in the Championship.

Head Coach, Gary Thornton, commented on the signing; “At 6’7 Calum gives us an extra dimension on the wings and I’m excited to see how we can exploit that in our end of set plays. Calum is a competitive character and will add Championship experience to the group. I know he’s really keen to get started after an injury hit season and he will be fresh and raring to go.”

Calum added, "I’m really looking forward too the 2024 season at Rochdale heard good things about the club. Hoping to cement my place in the team and make it the best season yet. Appreciate Gary and Andy giving me this opportunity means a lot."
