Match information: Hornets v Crusaders

All the match information you need ahead of this Sunday's clash.

Matt Calland's side return to the Crown Oil Arena for the first time this season in front of fans, and for the first time in seven weeks following six games on the road.

North Wales Crusaders make the trip for the Betfred League 1 Round Eight clash, with the two sides having met previously in pre-season.

Hornets have won their last two home meetings with North Wales. The Crusaders' last away victory was a 35-18 League 1 win on May 5, 2013.

Tickets for both North Wales Crusaders and London Skolars, our next two home games respectively, are just £10.00, while kids can attend for free!

Tickets are not being sold at the gates on the day.

Away fans are located in main stand block F and G.

Food and drinks

We are delighted to confirm that food and drinks will be available throughout the season courtesy of catering partners The Lancashire Hospitality.

This week, in a twist to the usual the menu, will be taken over by BOMBAY Brew, providing authentic Indian cuisine.

Start - Samosa Smash

Main - Tandoori Butter Chicken Curry with staff rice and naan bread. 

Guests booking into the lounge for dining will receive a warm welcome and be entertained my MC Allan Rowley with special guest speakers. Priced at £25-45 per head, there is still time to book for the game Vs North West Crusaders this Sunday. Box holders and guests will also be able to receive drinks orders direct to their box and table.

We are also pleased to confirm that the Indian street food will be rolled out across the terraces with the catering van supplying a delicious menu of -

Chicken Curry, Fresh Samosas, Veggy Kebabs, Vegan Kebabs & Brews. There will also be the usual pies and peas from the Kiosk near main stand.

In a change to operations, drinks will be served into the stands by the fantastic bar staff. Limited drinks will be available but will consist of larger, beer, cider and soft drinks. Simply, grab a bar staff member to take your order and buy your drinks while enjoying the game.

Community Counts

Rochdale Hornets is delighted to launch our new ticketing initiative Community Counts by linking up with community clubs from across Greater Manchester!

Bury Broncos, Limehurst Lions, Oldham St Annes, Rochdale Mayfield, Saddleworth Rangers and Waterhead Warriors have all been invited to both North Wales Crusaders and London Skolars at the Crown Oil Arena on June 27 and July 4 respectively as part of this initiative to get young players and fans involved.

Members can contact their clubs to redeem tickets for our next two home clashes.

Spectators returning to the Crown Oil Arena
