Rochdale Hornets Wheelchair to launch 2020 training tonight
Rochdale Hornets Wheelchair Rugby League begins tonight as the team prepare for their first fixture of the year against Warrington Wolves this Saturday.
Training sessions will be held each Monday at Rochdale Leisure Centre from 7:00pm, with new players of all abilities welcomed.
The side will feature in Wheechair Rugby League Championship this season.
“We have a strong and stable squad of players but we are always looking for new players of any ability,” said head coach Niel Wood.
“Wheelchair Rugby League is totally inclusive. It is open to wheelchair users and non-users alike.
“It’s great fun and one of the most spectacular forms of the sport available.
“We are really proud of our Rochdale Hornets Wheelchair Rugby League club and we want to welcome more players and supporters - come along to Rochdale Leisure Centre any Monday at 7:00 and join in.”
