Molly Udale-Williams re-signs with Hornets Women for 2026

Rochdale Hornets Women back Molly Udale-Williams has agreed to remain with the club for the 2026 season.
The 19-year-old re-signs with the Hornets Women following a successful debut season in 2025.
Back in August, Udale-Williams' performances also earned her a call-up to England Community Lions Women's U21 squad ahead of their autumn fixture against the Wanderers, a touring side from Australia.
“I had an unreal first season with the Hornets, being scouted by England and winning it all," she said.
"I'm grateful for the support, belief and opportunities from everyone at the club. The goal now is to go again, compete in the league above and push for England once more. Thank you, Hornets, for everything!”
Rochdale Hornets Women head coach Ben Bird said: “Last year was undoubtedly a huge success for us as a team, and that inevitably translates into personal success stories.
"Molly was one of those, arriving as a player new to rugby league. She is an example of what can be achieved if you buy in, commit and trust the process.
"It wasn't all roses for Molly last year, being targeted on and off the pitch by opposition. Her mental and physical resilience was tested repeatedly. Despite this, however, she finished the season as top try and points scorer, Young Player of the Year, and was called up to represent England in a Lions side where she started and was nominated as Player of the Match by the Australian side.
"Still a teenager, Molly has an exciting future in the game. I'm looking forward to carrying on her development and seeing what else we can achieve.”
