Alex Grant joins Hornets Women for 2025

Rochdale Hornets Women have announced the signing of forward Alex Grant for the 2025 season.

The 18-year-old forward joins Rochdale Hornets.

She becomes the nineteenth signing to join Ben Bird's squad for the 2025 season.

“The atmosphere here at hornets is so welcoming and I'd like to thank both the players, coaches and backroom staff for being so supportive. I'm excited to develop as both a player and a team and cant wait to see what the future holds for the Rochdale Hornets womens team.”

Rochdale Hornets Women head coach Ben Bird said: “Alex was a late addition to the squad but adds something we might have been a bit short on, an unapologetically aggressive and physical back forward. Playing youth for Halton Farnworth Hornets she comes to us as still a young girl yet she has a confidence and a presence. Alex has a lot of potential and we'll be looking to help her appreciate it this season.”
