Zac Baker leaves Rochdale Hornets

The club can confirm that Zac Baker has made the decision to step away from the professional game with immediate effect.

Baker, who returned to the Hornets on a one-year deal ahead of the 2025 campaign, has decided to leave due to increased work commitments.

He has featured four times in all competitions this season, adding to the 37 appearances he made during a previous four-year stint at the Crown Oil Arena. 

Everyone at the club understands Zac's decision to step away and focus on his career, and we wish him well for the future.
