Rochdale Hornets are saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong fan, David Brown.

Born in 1947, David was introduced to Rochdale Hornets as a child, through his father and has followed the club ever since. A working career taking him from Europe to South America, Africa and Asia, David continued to support Hornets throughout his life. A season ticket holder whilst in the UK, David is well known to many supporters and has been passionate about the club, which his support spanning almost eight decades.

David will be sorely missed by the Hornets community.

The club sends its deepest condolences to the Brown family.
