Squad update: Friday 19 July

The club would like to provide a squad update to the wider fanbase following last night's Fans' Forum.

Injuries:

• Duane Straugheir – Our captain suffered a serious season-ending achilles tendon injury away at Midlands Hurricanes earlier this month. Our thoughts and best wishes are with Duane on his road to recovery.

• Jack Miller – Unfortunately, Jack suffered a fractured fibula in the game against Midlands. The initial assessment suggests he could possibly make a return prior to the end of the season.

• Ben Killan – Currently awaiting a further scan to determine the severity of a bicep injury sustained in the game against Midlands.

• Myles Harrop – After suffering a significant shoulder injury in the game against North Wales Crusaders last month, Harrop is now in recovery following surgery and is not expected to make a return this season.

• Martyn Ridyard - Riddy is now back in full training after recovering from surgery to a bicep injury. He could be in line to make his first appearance since January against Newcastle this Sunday

Departures:

• Deane Meadows -  We can confirm that Deane has been released from his contract. We thank Deane for his time and the commitment he has shown whilst at the club and wish him well for the future.
