ROCHDALE Hornets have completed a double swoop for Daley Williams and Adam Lawton.

Adam Lawton returns to the club on a one month loan deal, for the second time this season while Daley Williams has signed a deal for the remainder of the 2019 season.

Recently released by Swinton Lions, Williams, 32, is a big, powerful centre who will provide a wealth of experience on the Hornets edge.

Hornets fans know what to expect from Adam Lawton, who has already crossed the goal line three times for Hornets this season - having began the campaign on loan from Salford Red Devils. He has also spent time on loan at Swinton Lions.

Head coach, Matt Calland said: “Daley is a big, strong centre. He will bring strike to our edges and much needed experience out wide.

“Adam Lawton has a really big frame. He stands at 6ft 7 and is a real handful for defenders with the ball in hand. He will add much needed size to our pack.”

Both players are available for selection ahead of Sunday’s trip to the Tetley’s Stadium where we face Dewsbury Rams.
