Carl Forster has added a further two names to his 2018 squad with pre-season a week away

CARL Forster has boosted his Rochdale Hornets squad with a further two new faces with the start of pre-season now less than a week away.

Young prop, Jack Cottington has linked up with the club, having previously played under Forster for a brief period at Whitehaven.

The Warrington Wolves academy product will add size to the pack with Forster admitting he is looking forward to seeing him in action.

“Jack is a good young player who has been through good youth systems and is a real project for us.” Said the Hornets chief.

“I’ve seen him play and was impressed. With a good pre-season under his belt, I’m really excited about what he can bring.”

Forster has also secured the signature of North Wales Crusaders winger, Danny Price.

Price, who can provide cover across the outside backs, offers pace and power on the flank with a good try scoring record at Crusaders.

Forster said: “Danny is a good, solid player and gives us utility across the backs. I’m looking forward to seeing him get going and, like Jack, with a full pre-season with us I’m sure he is going to be a great asset.

“I’m excited to see what he can bring.”

Both players are available to sponsor – to discuss packages contact
