FOUNDATION TO HOST LUNCH WITH GARY ENDACOTT
Inspirational speaker Gary Endacott to host pre-match talk with diners at Rochdale Hornets' Championship fixture against Batley Bulldogs.
The Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation is hosting a lunch with inspirational speaker Gary Endacott on Sunday 25th June, prior to Rochdale Hornets’ Championship clash with Batley Bulldogs.
Gary is the son of legendary coach Frank Endacott and he was born with Cerebral Palsy, however in spite of that he has run 4 marathons, won world tennis titles and climbed Kilimanjaro.
For just £25 per person you can enjoy lunch and hear Gary’s story, before then enjoying Hornets vs Batley in what is set to be a hotly contested match-up.
Foundation manager Niel Wood feels this is a great chance for people in the Rochdale area to hear from an inspirational figure.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to hear the story of Gary, who is a true inspiration to all,” he commented.
“The way he has continued to live his life despite being born with Cerebral Palsy is an incredible testament to his character and resilience.
“It will be a great afternoon for everyone in attendance, who will then be treated to Championship action from our very own Rochdale Hornets as they push for a place in the top eight.
“The Foundation are extremely proud to be hosting this event and we are hoping for a good turnout.”
