Our Sporting Foundation have been running a holiday camp, where children between the ages of 7 and 16 can join in on rugby league sessions.
Our Sporting Foundation have been running a Hopwood Holiday club, with the help of the college, with children aged between seven and 16 enjoying rugby league sessions delivered by our dedicated coaches.
Sessions run on Tuesday's and Thursday's at the Hopwood college campus, and will continue for the remainder of the summer holiday's, with newcomers welcome to join in.
It kicks off at 10am with an hour session for ages seven to 11, before a session for children aged 11 to 16 starts at 11am until midday.
Michael Ratu has been delivering the sessions, and feels they have been a success so far.
"Paul Driver of Hopwood Hall campus has incorporated his holiday camp with ours, and that has led to some brilliant numbers attending," he commented.
"The 11-16 age group hasn't taken off as of yet, although that is a tough age group to engage, but there is still time for newcomers to join in.
"We want to end the summer holidays with even more children in attendance, so we are hoping for a strong end to the camp."
Simply turn up and play at one of the sessions on either Tuesday's or Thursday's, with appropriate footwear and kit, and your child can join in with our already successful holiday camp.
